The Dark Knight

I was really blown away by “The Dark Knight”, so much so that I’ve tried to make plans to see it a second time in the same week, this time in IMAX. In both nearby theaters that offer IMAX, they continue to sell out, so I might have to wait ’til the buzz dies down a bit before I can actually score tickets. If you were as thrilled about the movie after seeing it as I was, I recommend checking out the Wired Magazine article link below. It discusses some of the more technical challenges of filming for IMAX, trying to avoid using CGI, and gives some insight into the mind of director Christopher Nolan. That guy is a f**king genius.

i’m slowly getting the hang of features & functions of WordPress, however there are some limitations i’ve discovered that are a little bothersome. for one, you can’t add your own HTML based widgets into the sidebar the way you can on blogger, which i really liked for the ability to post in my Last.FM stats.

the addition of the WordPress application to the arsenal known as my iPhone is definitely a nice touch, and probably reason enough for me to not even bother with checking out TypePad (like i would actually pay for a blog anyhow).

iPhone 2.0

the iPhone 2.0 software is definitely a little sluggish. certain simple tasks like pulling up contact info take a second or two longer then it should. i’m sure they will update the firmware soon, so for now i’m just enjoying all the apps.

this happens to be my first post using the WordPress app for iPhone that was just released today!
